Steve Stein, M.Sc. is working as a scientific researcher and lecturer at the University of Applied Scienes Kaiserslautern / Department of Computer Sciences. He is part of the search engine laboratory and holds lectures and tutorials in media management and production, media design foundations and media communications. His research areas include web 2.0, web 3.0 (semantic web), search engine engineering, social network analysis and information architecture. The main focus of Steve Stein's current projects is on the area of social communities. With the help of high performance crawlers and distributed computing networks various social networks are investigated and analyzed. He is also working as a freelancer and consultant in the areas of usability, accessability and security as well as webdesign, e-commerce and online marketing.
