Hoffmann Architects + Engineers is a design firm based in New Haven, Connecticut, founded in 1977, that specializes in rehabilitating building enclosures. The company focuses on exterior systems of existing structures, diagnosing and addressing deterioration in facades, roofing, windows, waterproofing, plazas, parking garages, and historic or landmark buildings, while also providing consulting support for new construction and for litigation and claims. Its work aims to identify damage caused by weathering, construction defects, material failures, and structural movement, offering technical analysis and corrective solutions to extend the life of building envelopes. With a firm orientation toward architecture and engineering services, Hoffmann supports clients facing exterior rehabilitation challenges across a range of project types, including historic preservation and complex restoration tasks, from its New Haven base. A recent leadership update notes the promotion of a director of business development, reflecting ongoing organizational development within the practice.
