Homeless Garden Project is a Santa Cruz-based non-profit organization that approaches homelessness and unemployment through an integrated program model. By combining transitional employment opportunities with skill-building and social supports, the organization aims to address barriers such as limited job experience, weak social networks, and low self-esteem that hinder people from moving out of homelessness.

Operating within the non-profit sector, the project serves individuals seeking employment and stability, offering a pathway through its employment-focused initiatives. The organization has a long-standing presence in the community, dating back to its launch in 1990, and maintains a collaborative stance with local partners, including city authorities, to advance its mission. Recent developments include recognition as a California Nonprofit of the Year and ongoing community engagements in Santa Cruz and surrounding areas.
