Horseland LLC operates in the computer games sector, centering on an online community and browser-based game where players care for, breed, train, and showcase horses and dogs. The platform offered a social space complemented by gameplay activities, serving a broad user base that grew to millions of participants worldwide before its closure. The company's roots trace to its launch in 1994, with operations based in Rochester, New York, and a storefront presence through the Horseland brand for future licensing opportunities and partnerships. The project attracted a predominantly younger female audience, ages roughly 10 to 22, providing entertainment and social interaction within its virtual animal-focused environment. The service remained accessible until April 2019, when the game officially closed, marking a shift away from active service while retaining brand potential for licensing and collaborations.
