Hospice of the Golden Isles, Inc. (HGI) is a non-profit, Medicare/Medicaid certified, community-based hospice that has served southeast coastal Georgia since 1980. Our hospice provides high-quality home hospice services (including nursing homes) and also offers in-patient and residential care in our freestanding Hospice House located in Brunswick, GA. Our service area includes Glynn, McIntosh, Camden, Charlton, and Brantley counties.

Hospice of the Golden Isles employs a full-time physician Medical Director, Dr. Lindsey Rish, who is board certified in both Family Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. HGI's Chief Executive Officer, Paula Di Landro, has worked in the hospice industry for over 20 years ranging from case management to family services, counseling, leadership, coaching, and supervision.

Hospice of the Golden Isles offers services regardless of a patient's ability to pay and provided over $750,000 of uncompensated services to patients in 2022. HGI has been awarded Deyta's prestigious National Hospice Honors Award recognizing the excellent quality of care and superior customer satisfaction for numerous years since it’s inception.
