Since 1928, the Hotel & Lodging Association of Greater Kansas City has been developing an effective working relationship between hotels, encouraging members to adhere to the highest ethical standards of the industry, providing legislative and regulatory representation, and creating a favorable climate that promotes travel, tourism, and convention business.

Today HLA represents the finest hotels in the greater Kansas City area along with hotel suppliers and convention & visitors bureaus.

We also have a 501(c)(3) foundation, the Educational Foundation of the Hotel and Lodging Association of Greater Kansas City. The Foundation provides scholarships and grants each year to college students studying hospitality.
