The Howard Greenberg Gallery is a photography-focused institution based in New York City, with a history spanning more than twenty years. It maintains an extensive and evolving collection of classic and contemporary photographs, representing a roster that includes renowned masters such as Cartier-Bresson, Weston, Strand, Parkes, and Kertész, among others, and spans genres from Pictorialism to Modernism as well as images created for industry, advertising, and fashion. The gallery serves collectors and institutions seeking access to historically significant prints and a living history of the medium, offering a platform for both established names and broader photographic discourse. In addition to its core holdings, the gallery announced in late 2023 that Wim Wenders joined as director and photographer, reflecting ongoing leadership development and expansion within its activities. The organization is located on East 57th Street in New York, operates with a medium-sized team, and positions itself within the established arena of fine art photography galleries.
