Howe Independent School District is a public education system serving students from pre-kindergarten through high school in Howe, Texas, a community in Grayson County. The district covers about 76 square miles and comprises one elementary school, one middle school, and one high school that together educate around 1,000 students. As a 3A district, it provides standard curricula, co-curricular activities, and specialized services to address a range of student needs. Educators, administrators, and support staff pursue high educational standards and work to develop each student’s potential. The district relies on collaboration with the local community and the Howe ISD Board of Trustees in its governance. In November 2024, Howe ISD announced the Bulldog Angel Tree, a campus-wide initiative reflecting ongoing community engagement.
