Hubbard Peanut Company, Inc. is a small- to mid-sized food and beverage manufacturer based in Sedley, Virginia, that specializes in cooking Virginia peanuts for domestic and international shipment. The business traces its roots to 1954 when Dot Hubbard launched a home-based mail-order peanut operation drawn from the region’s peanut farming heritage. A production system developed by Dot’s husband to meet rising demand while maintaining strict quality standards remains in use today, underscoring the company’s long-standing emphasis on consistency and safety.

The company serves consumers seeking specialty peanut snacks and giftable treats, with products distributed worldwide and available in U.S. stores in a variety of packaging options. In 2019 the company announced an expansion to establish a new production and retail facility in Franklin, Tennessee, signaling growth beyond its Sedley operations.
