The Hudson County Economic Development Corporation (HCEDC) was established in 1994 to foster business growth and community development through job creation and improving the quality of life in Hudson County. The HCEDC serves the twelve municipalities of Hudson County. Our programs include: Business and Micro Loan Programs, Business Financial and Economic Outreach, Site selection for businesses looking to relocate to or within Hudson County and our award winning Brownfields Program. The Business Financial and Economic Outreach Program offer small business owners educational programs for technical assistance as well as site selection. Our award winning Brownfields Program has won five important grants from the US Environmental Protection Agency. These funds are used towards the redevelopment of abandoned and underutilized industrial sites located in Hudson County. Eligible developers and property owners can now obtain funding for the remediation of Brownfield properties through our Brownfield Cleanup Revolving Loan Fund Program. A component of our portfolio of services is Business Attraction. HCEDC works tirelessly in our efforts to attract businesses to Hudson County.
