Huffman's Farm & Home is farm and home supply store carrying products from fencing and feed to dog food and cleaning products.  It was purchased in 2002 by the Huffman Corporation.   The location had been home to a Big Bear Farm Store for about 20 years and was followed by a C.T. Farm and Country Store for 4 to 5 years.  The location had been home to a Farm Store for a long time and the Huffman's did not want to see it empty.  They bought the store, expanded, renovated, and opened the 1st of April 2004 with a store that they had more than doubled in size to 22,000 sq. feet.  Since its opening in 2004 they have seen continued growth.  
The customers are loyal and they say they love the home town service with the big store prices.  The Huffman corporation was started by founder Bob Huffman in 1971 as a welding business.  Today Huffman Welding and Machine Inc. (www.huffmanwelding.com) and Huffman's Farm & Home are ran by his three sons Mike, Hank, and Bob Jr.  
Huffman's Farm and Home in West Burlington had its Grand Opening on June 21, 2008.  
The location was previously occupied by Fullerton Lumber.  The Huffman team added 15,000 sq. feet to the store allowing them to have over 30,000 sq. feet of retail space and added a new parking lot.  The store has a strong focus on Outdoor Power Equipment, expanded departments in Lawn & Garden, Pet Supplies, Animal Health & Feeds (from horses to pets), contractor supplies, clothing and hardware.
