Human Life International (HLI) is a faith-based civic and social organization focused on pro-life and pro-family advocacy. The group operates internationally, providing Catholic teaching and training to diverse communities to support life-affirming perspectives in societies where culture and policy may challenge pro-life values, with activities that include conferences, missionary trips, and leadership training directed at pro-life leaders, families, seminarians, and students. Based in Front Royal, Virginia, HLI has been active since 1981 and has conducted numerous conferences and outreach efforts across many countries, under the leadership of Reverend Shenan J. Boquet since 2011. Acknowledging collaboration with other organizations, HLI has engaged in partnerships to enhance education and advocacy on life and moral tradition, including initiatives in partnership with the National Catholic Bioethics Center. The organization positions itself within the broader social and civic sector by working across faiths and cultures to advance its interpretation of life, family, and moral values globally.
