Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT) is a non-profit organization based in Washington, DC, founded in 2010 to advance OpenStreetMap and to support volunteers and local groups around the world in humanitarian mapping. By coordinating crisis-response mapping, HOT acts as a bridge between the OpenStreetMap community and traditional humanitarian responders such as MSF, the Red Cross, and UNOCHA, as well as local governments.
