Hunt Laudi Studio was established in 2001 and the Dupont Underground was established in 2005 by Julian Hunt and Lucrecia Laudi after returning from ten years abroad in Barcelona. Our work is clearly influenced by that immersion in neo-modern minimalism mixed with the very old. As professionals, we work to transform our client’s intangible ideals into real projects and can offer design/build as an alternate to having to hire a contractor.

We are hands-on with years of experience working with craftsmen, tradesmen, and laborers to craft a building from the myriad materials needed to assemble the finished form.

With over 15 years working in our own practice and significant previous experience in large-scale international projects with Venturi Scott Brown, Ricardo Bofill’s Taller de Arquitectura, Leo A Daly and HOK in Washington DC, we are well aware of the balance of cost, complexity, quality and time constraints involved in a project
