The inspiration for this division of Beyond Commerce, Inc. came from the positive feedback we received from our online community and storefront, BOOMj.com. BOOMj is a leading niche portal and social networking site serving Baby Boomers and Generation Jones. The creation and implementation of BOOMj.com's e-commerce operations solidified our belief that e-commerce is an incredibly powerful and lucrative functionality we needed to possess. It also highlighted how much work was involved to manage it all on your own including managing vendor relationships, customer service, fraud monitoring and shipping. It is a complex operation. Our users have fully embraced our combination of community and commerce. We decided that the next logical step would be to leverage this success and export this model to create i-SUPPLY.
