ICC Americas oversees cricket development across the region, spanning from Canada in the north to Argentina in the south. The organization aims to engage people of diverse ages, genders, backgrounds and abilities and to build bridges between continents, countries and communities.

It comprises 16 member entities with Associate and Affiliate status, including Associate Members Argentina, Bermuda, Canada, Cayman Islands, Suriname and USA, and Affiliate Members Bahamas, Belize, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Falkland Islands, Mexico, Panama, Peru and Turks and Caicos Islands. The group is based in North York, Ontario, Canada, and has a very small staff. In January 2022, USA Cricket announced a partnership with ICC Americas to offer development opportunities for women in American cricket to pursue a postgraduate certificate in International Sports Management through the World Academy of Sports (WAoS).
