iconext is a consultancy and network that focuses on fostering new ideas, concepts, inventions, and discoveries. The organization supports individuals at all levels of expertise by offering help and opportunities to develop and potentially commercialize ideas and connect with businesses interested in acquiring them. A key aspect of its model is that services for idea submitters are provided at no charge until a sale is achieved, and submissions can originate from anywhere in the world, with privacy protections in place unless explicitly requested to display ideas. Based in Elk Grove, California, iconext positions itself within the business consulting and services sector as a facilitator of ideation and idea transfer, targeting a broad range of participants who seek to advance and monetize new concepts.
