The Idaho Falls Symphony is a performing arts organization based in Idaho Falls, Idaho, with 11 to 50 employees and located at 440 North Capital Avenue, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83402, United States. It originated in 1949 and was reorganized as the Idaho Falls Symphony Society in 1961, with adopted by-laws and a board of directors. Its mission is to provide high-quality live orchestral experiences of world music for the enjoyment, enrichment, and education of audiences and musicians. The organization draws musicians from diverse professions and has grown to attract performers from across the Eastern Idaho region, supported by local sponsors that promote a vibrant and nationally recognized orchestra. Education and outreach are central, with programs including Children's Concerts, Family Concerts, the Ambassador Program, the Idaho Falls Youth Symphony, and masterclasses with visiting artists. Dr. Thomas Heuser was named the Symphony's tenth Music Director after a 2010 search and retired from the position in April 2025; the administrative offices are located near the Willard Arts Center in downtown Idaho Falls.
