Idaho Shakespeare Festival is a mid-sized performing arts organization based in Boise, Idaho, founded in 1977. It pursues a mission to produce great theater, entertain, and educate its audiences. Its mainstage season comprises five plays staged in a world-class outdoor amphitheater set in a habitat reserve, with picnicking encouraged. Patrons can also enjoy onsite dining from Shakespeare's Marketplace. The company maintains a robust educational program, including School of Theater, Camp Shakespeare, an Apprentice Company, and two school touring performances: Idaho Theater for Youth and Shakespearience. In 2026 ISF announced a landmark five-year partnership with Play On Shakespeare and its partner theaters Great Lakes Theater and Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival.
