The Iditarod Trail Committee (ITC) is the nonprofit organization that administers the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. The event spans roughly 1,000 miles across interior Alaska, ending in Nome on the Bering Sea and attracting a worldwide audience; the ITC is based in Wasilla, Alaska and operates as a mid-sized organization.

In 2026, ITC launched IditaHealth: Smiles for Miles, a pediatric dental wellness program delivering preventive care, oral health education and hygiene supplies to elementary schoolchildren in rural Iditarod checkpoint communities. The initiative illustrates the ITC's engagement beyond race operations through community health outreach.
