In May 2018, IESA was acquired by Electrocomponents plc. Electrocomponents plc (LSE: ECM) are the global distributor for engineers. The acquisition of IESA will enhance and accelerate the Electrocomponents Group’s value-added services offering, giving it additional capabilities to service corporate customers who choose to outsource their maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), procurement and inventory management, including all associated transactions. 
 
As part of Electrocomponents, we will continue to operate IESA as an independent as part of the  Electrocomponents Group, ensuring our clients benefit from the scale and international reach of the broader Group. In addition, the Group’s relationships with international suppliers will enable us to enhance our offering to our clients, whilst at the same time accelerating our international presence and digital capabilities.
