IHI Environmental is an environmental services firm based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Founded in 1980 by four colleagues from the U.S. Public Health Service, it began as Industrial Health Incorporated, an occupational safety and health consulting practice. Over time the company broadened into hazardous-material management, including asbestos and lead-based paint, as well as comprehensive environmental consulting, and to serve clients across the western United States it established branch offices in California, Arizona, Colorado, and Washington. In 1995, the firm added a Natural Resources Division and formally adopted the name IHI Environmental to reflect its expanded scope.

Today it operates as an employee-owned organization with a team described as an extended family of qualified professionals who value integrity and professionalism. The company serves clients in the western United States seeking safety, health, and environmental services to manage hazardous materials and ensure environmental compliance.
