PT Inti Karya Persada Teknik (IKPT), a company specializing in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction services in Indonesia was established on 22 February 1982.  IKPT’s range of services covers highly vast area: oil and gas plants, petrochemical, fertilizer, power plants, infrastructures, and a lot more.

IKPT was built as result of a brainstorming of several young Indonesian engineers with concern to push forward the involvement of local engineers in various project from downstream and upstream. These engineers were eager to start a national company with idealism and good principles.
