illumyn Impact is a nonprofit based in Oakland, California that connects diverse professionals with board service opportunities. It maintains a referral-based network of more than 8,000 diverse executives and underrepresented individuals, a third of whom are women of color, and it introduces qualified candidates to organizations seeking board members. The organization also hosts roundtable discussions that bring together CEOs and current or aspiring directors to broaden professional networks.

It partners with more than 100 leading private equity and venture capital firms and runs a corporate onboarding program to support women executives in large companies. As a 501(c)(3) organization, illumyn Impact operates with the backing of founding partners and other supporters.
