ima+design is an architecture and planning firm that broadens project scope from retail and mixed-use developments to office and large-scale master plans, aiming to create spaces that integrate landscape, form, and community. The firm emphasizes collaboration and a balance between vision and practical constraints, seeking designs that deliver experiential value for residents, workers, and visitors while enhancing economic value for clients. Based in Irvine, California, the company leverages a holistic approach that covers land planning, urban design, and landscape architecture, with projects ranging from new construction to updates of existing properties. Ima’s work often centers on developing destinations that function as social hubs, incorporating varied real estate uses to foster pedestrian activity and community appeal.
