Impact Alabama: A Student Service Initiative is a Birmingham-based nonprofit that mobilizes recent college graduates to address poverty’s effects through health, economic, and education-focused programs. The organization supports local communities by placing young professionals in roles that expand access to vision care for children, provide free tax preparation and savings opportunities for hardworking families, and encourage academic achievement among Birmingham-area high school students through debate-led mentorship. Serving the southeastern United States with offices in Birmingham, Memphis, and Greenville, its work centers on developing leadership and civic engagement among the next generation while delivering tangible services to underserved populations. The group operates within the non-profit sector, emphasizing youth-driven service to create lasting community impact and address health, financial stability, and educational advancement. A recent development noted is a partnership announced in 2023 with VOLT Bikes, reflecting collaboration on broader ESG-related initiatives. }
