Our Mission: The IBA provides connections, opportunities, and resources to LGBTQ+ businesses, professionals, and allies in the Greater Philadelphia tri-state area. In collaboration with our members and partners, we expand economic opportunities, advocate for diverse spaces, and promote inclusive leadership. Our Goals: We aspire to foster an environment of equitable access to economic empowerment for local, vibrant LGBTQ+ communities and those who support equality. Our Values: Building a diverse and inclusive community Fostering economic and personal growth Empowering connections among stakeholders Advocating for members, partners, and community The IBA serves the LGBTQ+ and business communities of: Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties in Pennsylvania; Mercer, Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Salem counties in New Jersey; and, New Castle County in Delaware. The Independence Business Alliance is a membership-based business advocacy organization dedicated to making the Philadelphia region an influential and diverse LGBTQ+ business community with an impact on economic development, equal rights and policy issues. The IBA is an official affiliate of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC).
