Founded in 1972, Independence Tube has since become a leading manufacturer of square, rectangular and round HSS tubing and Pipe Piling. Our success can be measured by our steady growth over these past 40 years. From starting with just 3 employees in 53,000 square feet of manufacturing space on the south side of Chicago, IL., we have now grown to just over 1.7 million square feet under roof at four locations:Chicago, IL, Marseilles, lL, Decatur, AL, and Trinity AL.Our plants have steadily grown in size while we have steadily grown in achievement.

With our second – to- none on-time rolling schedule, Independence Tube has assisted our customers in managing their inventory more closely while providing a product of the highest quality, on-time when needed. We manufacture ASTM A500 tubing from 2” through 12” square, along with the corresponding rectangles and with walls from .125” through .625”. We also manufacture ASTM A500 Pipe Size tubing & ASTM A252 Pipe Piling from 1.660”OD through 16” OD, with walls from .109” through .688”.
