We are a group of leading veterinary practices across the UK who have come together to pool resources, skills and knowledge. We’re run by and for vets, so clinical excellence drives our business. Pet and client needs will always come first because every practice in our group is run by its local veterinary team.

We established Independent Vetcare in September 2011, and over 700 practices across Europe have already joined us. Though we’re growing fast, we’ll never lose our personal approach: every practice in the group has its own identity, and that’s the way we like it. Our vets’ independence is our strength.

We believe the best quality veterinary care comes from locally managed veterinary practices, led by their clinical teams. So as working vets, we set up Independent Vetcare in 2011 to guarantee the future of our practices and our belief that patients must always come first.

As large veterinary chains become increasingly dominant, we feel strongly that vets do better work when they make their own decisions based on clinical need. Independent Vetcare enables local practices to retain their independence and to be part of a larger organisation which offers them financial and business support.
