The Indian Land Tenure Foundation (ILTF) is a national nonprofit organization based in Little Canada, Minnesota, functioning as a community foundation serving American Indian nations and people in the recovery and control of their homelands. It aims to promote education, increase cultural awareness, expand economic opportunity, and reform legal and administrative systems that limit Native ownership and control of reservation lands. ILTF accepts contributions from organizations and individuals to support its grantmaking and program initiatives, and maintains a website at https://iltf.org. The organization has 11-50 employees. In recent years, ILTF has been active in Native land-related work, including plans to host the 2026 Native Land Conference at the Mystic Lake center and appointing Howard D. Valandra as interim president in February 2025 after Cris Stainbrook, who led the organization for 23 years, retired.
