IndieCade operates as an international platform that supports independent game development and organizes a series of events showing the direction of independent games. It seeks to foster innovation and artistry in interactive media and to shape public perception of games as diverse, artistic, and culturally meaningful. Its activities connect a global network of producers and creators—from Asia, Latin America, Europe, and Australia—aimed at bringing attention to new works within the rising independent game movement. The organization runs a festival along with production and publication programs designed to increase visibility and support the creation of new independent game projects. IndieCade was formed by Creative Media Collaborative in 2005. Submissions for the IndieCade Festival are currently open.
