Indigo Instruments went on-line in Oct. 1994 at www.indigo.com. As of Feb. 2018 we are now at www.indigoinstruments.com.

We offer an eclectic mix of products for science education at www.indigoinstruments.com. We are in Waterloo, ON & ship anywhere; US orders ship out of Buffalo, NY with all cross border costs covered. Our minimum on-line order is $5.00 and we offer volume discounts.

We carry only  Molymod & Orbit brand Molecular Models for organic chemistry & biochemistry, crystal lattice structures &  DNA double helix models (the Big Bang Theory model is ours). 

Our free 3D Molecular Model Builder tool can show most organic structures & the parts needed to build them. Great for teachers & researchers who want to build just one or many structures or for business presentations & promotional marketing.

Our range of permanent neodymium rare earth magnets include over 100 sizes of discs, rods, squares, cubes & rings all in high quality N42 grade (+/- 2% variability) & in hard metric sizes. In addition, we have  the original ultra sensitive Mark 1 Magnaprobe made by Cochranes of Oxford (UK) which can detect less than 1 Gauss at 10cm & is an unparalled in its ability to detect stray magnetic fields.

Our Test Strips encompass pH, sanitizers, taste testing, Vitamin C, glucose & the most diverse offering of water/moisture detection papers. Our free dilution calculator quickly determines the ratio of water & chlorine, iodine, peroxide or quat to get the final ppm you need. We've recently added a 10000ppm quat which can be used for invasive species control or even testing Barbicide.

Magnifiers include geology loupes, linen testers & credit card magnifiers, all of which can be custom imprinted for trade shows or marketing promotion. 

Our science glassware is lab grade but is also popular for decorative uses and can be custom imprinted. Test tubes, flasks, graduated cylinders & beakers have been used for display or packaging in bars, product showcases, as flower vases, wedding centerpieces & themed parties. 

The product line is rounded out with prisms, insect pins, & biology/ hobby tools.
