IndustriALL Global Union represents roughly 50 million workers across 140 countries in the mining, energy, and manufacturing sectors, working to improve working conditions and defend trade union rights worldwide. Its mission emphasizes building trade union power and defending workers' rights, with democratic unions viewed as essential to social equality and democracy.

The organization pursues five core goals—defend workers' rights, build union power, confront global capital, fight precarious work, and promote sustainable industrial policy—and operates from its Geneva-based headquarters. It has signed Global Framework Agreements with 46 major corporations, including Peugeot, Ford, H&M, Inditex, Siemens and Statoil, to establish standards for rights, health and safety, and environmental practices across global operations, and more recently announced partnerships such as a Cambodia agreement with HEMA.
