The Information Governance Initiative (IGI) is a cross-disciplinary consortium and think tank dedicated to advancing the adoption of Information Governance practices and technologies through research, publishing, advocacy and peer-to-peer networking. The mission of the IGI is to sound the clarion call that current information management practices are unsustainable. Unless corporations and government agencies take serious action, information overload and mismanagement will become a serious threat to the economy, delivery of government services, and to the justice system itself. We work with the information governance community to chart a better path forward.
