Formed in 1990 by attorneys Alan G. Horwitz and Bruce E. Ingerman, during a time when many law firms were shrinking in size, Ingerman & Horwitz, LLP has grown steadily from a staff of 5 to over 50 focusing on the needs of clients injured on the job or through the negligence of others.

A dedicated staff of over 20 professionals with over 100 years of collective experience (including attorneys, supervisory personnel, paralegals and administrative assistants) deals only with workers’ compensation cases. We were recently recognized for our success in a seminal case that forever changed Maryland workers’ compensation law by altering the definition of an “accident”. This new definition has substantially increased the eligibility for workers’ compensation coverage and has opened the door for countless claimants, whose rights to benefits were previously denied.
