Inline Electric Supply Co. opened its doors in 1988 in Huntsville, AL with a strategy to be the best source for electrical contractors, installers, commercial, institutional, and industrial customers to purchase their electrical supplies.  Inline's goal is to have abundant local stocks at competitive prices and to employ individuals who will offer service that exceeds our customer's expectations.

Since 1988, the electrical store has grown to 21 locations employing over 400 people who serve customers all over the state of Alabama and in Tennessee and Georgia. In addition to the original location in Huntsville, Inline Electric Supply now has locations in Alabama in Cullman, Jasper, Birmingham, Pelham, Gadsden, Albertville, Trussville, Montgomery, Auburn, Sheffield, Athens, Tuscaloosa, Troy; Ringgold, Georgia and in Chattanooga, Spring Hill, Nashville, and Columbia, Tennessee. Our Huntsville, Pelham, Auburn, Athens, Montgomery, and Chattanooga stores also include residential lighting showrooms featuring quality residential lighting products.

In 2012 the owners of Inline sold the company to the employees as an ESOP. Each of Inline's full-time employees now holds partial ownership of the company, and are invested in its continued success. Inline continues to grow and prosper as we serve our customer's needs and continue to strive to be the place our customers come for their electrical supplies, power equipment, tools, and lighting.
