The Institute for Advanced Study is a mid-sized higher education research institution based in Princeton, New Jersey, dedicated to theoretical research and advancing knowledge across the sciences and humanities. Each year, about 250 postdoctoral researchers and scholars join as Members to pursue independent inquiry on a campus that emphasizes collaboration and scholarly mentorship.
