The Institute for Environmental Education is an environmental services provider based in Wilmington, Massachusetts, founded in 1987 as a subsidiary of an asbestos consulting company and later becoming an independent Massachusetts corporation. It operates as a training organization, offering courses in asbestos, lead, OSHA, HazMat, mold, EPA, and related environmental safety fields, with a facility that supports both classroom and hands-on instruction. The organization serves a diverse client base that includes governmental agencies, hospitals, schools and colleges, military branches, businesses, associations, and non-profits, training more than a few thousand students per year. In addition to its training programs, IEE maintains a staff of professional Lead Inspectors and Risk Assessors available to serve clients throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire. The institute positions itself as a comprehensive training resource for organizations and individuals entering or advancing in the environmental workforce, continually updating its offerings to reflect changing regulations.
