The Institute for Workforce Innovation is a not-for-profit organization located in north central Florida for 30 years. Our mission is to improve our communities’ quality of life through education, employment and advocacy. We carry out our mission by building affordable housing, providing hunger relief, and developing career ladders and training programs, all to meet the evolving needs of our community.

Our projects include:

-The Melrose Senior Community Center: an inter-generational community center in Melrose, FL offering an array of activities and services to promote active living and aging in place.

-Project ReStart: a job training and entrepreneurial education program for unemployed workers, located at The Landing.

-Project YouthBuild AmeriCorps: a 7-month intensive educational and vocational training program for opportunity youth aged 16-24 who are out of school.
