Intercontinental Corrosion Engineers, Inc. provides cathodic protection programs, surveys, designs and special studies for major Natural Gas, Oil, and Pipeline Companies, Industrial and Institutional Organizations, DOD Facilities, Power Generating Stations and Engineering Firms. It was formed in 2004 by Joseph P. Kadlec, P. E., a registered professional corrosion engineer with over forty five (45) years experience in evaluating the effectiveness and condition of cathodic protection and in designing and installing cathodic protection for pipeline systems and other facilities These include petroleum, natural gas, propane, ammonia and water pipelines, fuel and oil storage tanks, sewage facilities, power generating facilities, water storage tanks, steam lines, high temperature hot water lines, chilled water lines, sewage lift stations, hydraulic elevator and hoist cylinders, dock and pier structures, electric and communication cables, piles, reinforced concrete structures, floating structures and other facilities in underground, marine, fresh water and other environments. Mr. Kadlec’s experience with military work includes fifteen DOD direct contracts and over one hundred subcontracts for large and small Architect-Engineer firms. This work includes over 150 military projects at 80+ bases/facilities in the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, Caribbean Islands, Honduras, Panama, Iceland, continental Europe and North Africa.
