Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake mobilizes the faith community to protect and restore the Chesapeake watershed. It coordinates efforts through networks of congregations and regional One Water Partnership hubs to advance water quality improvements on congregational grounds. Since 2013, the organization has engaged nearly 300 congregations, planted over 15,000 trees, and treated more than 2.5 million square feet of impervious surfaces to reduce stormwater pollution. Based in Annapolis, Maryland, the organization operates with a networked model that engages faith communities to address local water quality and habitat needs. In May 2025 it launched the Native Plant Action Kit, a guide to planting native gardens that restore habitat and support pollinators.
