Intermarket Corporation is an SEC-registered investment adviser based in New York City. The firm was founded in 1969 for the purpose of providing discretionary investment management services to a limited number of sophisticated institutions and individuals. The firm manages certain U.S. and non-U.S. collective investment vehicles designed to meet the needs of U.S. taxable investors, tax-exempt investors and non-U.S. investors. Valuation is based on the cashflow-producing ability of each company and on the assets on which senior debt holders have a claim and on the estimated time frame over which the returns will be realized. Intermarket invests without leverage. The firm may also from time-to-time opportunistically invest in other event-driven investments.
