Established in 2013, International Innovation Corps (IIC) is a social impact fellowship program hosted by the University of Chicago Trust in India. IIC brings academic and strategic rigour to bridge the gap between policy design and on-ground implementation. We partner with a wide spectrum of stakeholders: government agencies, philanthropies, mission-driven organizations, and multilateral institutions. Our mission is to deliver impact at scale by nurturing the leaders of social change. We operate with the belief that complex social problems necessitate a critical and innovative lens. By strategically recruiting and training young professionals, the organization positions them as adept problem-solvers capable of addressing these problems. As a mission driven organization, IIC aligns and adopts the mission of its project and partner to deliver the most meaningful impact. Through our unique R.I.S.E. model: Recruit, Immerse, Strategically Deploy, and Empower, we recruit top-performing individuals from leading Indian and global universities, providing them with intensive training and ongoing mentorship. Fellows are deployed in interdisciplinary teams for 12 to 18 months across its partner institutions, where they work closely with them to drive systemic reforms.
