International Innovation Corps is a non-profit fellowship program established in 2013 and hosted by the University of Chicago Trust in India. Based in Chicago, Illinois, it partners with government agencies, philanthropies, mission-driven organizations, and multilateral institutions to bridge policy design and on-ground implementation. The organization seeks to deliver impact at scale by developing leaders who can address complex social problems through a critical and innovative lens. Its R.I.S.E. model — Recruit, Immerse, Strategically Deploy, and Empower — guides the process, from selecting top performers from Indian and global universities to providing intensive training and ongoing mentorship before deployment. Fellows operate in interdisciplinary teams for 12 to 18 months across partner institutions, where they work with those partners to drive systemic reforms.
