The International Ocean Film Foundation is a global nonprofit using the power of independent film to drive ocean literacy, conservation, and action. Since 2004, we have produced the world’s premier ocean-focused film festival, inspiring audiences to protect our oceans and become part of the solution. Through powerful visual storytelling, curated screenings, filmmaker Q&As, and expert-led discussions, we connect people directly to the issues shaping ocean health today. Our 23rd Annual International Ocean Film Festival takes place April 10–12, 2026, in San Francisco — three days of films, live conversations, and immersive experiences showcasing ocean stories from around the world. As a year-round organization, we extend our impact through global screenings, a traveling film program, and free education initiatives that engage students, educators, filmmakers, scientists, and conservation leaders worldwide. Because storytelling doesn’t just inspire — it mobilizes action. 🎬 April 10–12, 2026 | 23rd Annual Festival in San Francisco Festival Passes Available Now: 2026ioff.eventive.org/welcome 🌊 Global screenings + year-round programming 🎓 Free student education & youth film competition
