The International Plant Nutrition Institute (IPNI) is a research-focused nonprofit organization based in Peachtree Corners, Georgia, that was active from 2007 to 2019. Its work centered on responsible plant nutrient management to support global food, fuel, fiber, and feed needs, addressing issues such as food security and the environmental implications of crop production. IPNI collaborated with partner institutions worldwide to advance agronomic research, education, demonstrations, and training, promoting best management practices aligned with the 4R nutrient stewardship concept: right source, right rate, right time, and right place.
