The International School of Arizona is an independent, nonprofit 501(c)(3) Early Childhood , Lower and Middle School (Age 2 through Grade 8), offering an excellent full immersion education in French or Spanish, while delivering a well-rounded, rigorous academic program.


The school is accredited by American and European entities (AdvancED, Agence pour l'enseignement française á l'étranger (AEFE) and Instituto Cervantes.) Students follow a challenging global curriculum based on the best American, French and Spanish standards, formulated to provide a strong educational foundation,
and including the STREAM science-based program (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts and Maths).


ISA was founded in 1997 to fill an unmet need in the Phoenix metropolitan area for children to obtain early second language learning in a multicultural setting and grew to become a treasured resource and community asset with nearly 300 students and a staff of over 50 teachers, assistants and administrators from all over the globe.
