International Wildlife Film Festival is a nonprofit organization that presents an annual showcase of wildlife and nature documentaries anchored in scientific content. It operates as a program of The Roxy Theater, a Missoula-based nonprofit arthouse cinema that runs year-round. Now in its 46th year, the festival is part of the community cinema's programming focused on wildlife topics.

The festival targets audiences interested in science-based storytelling about wildlife and the natural world, offering a platform for documentary works in that space. Based in Missoula, Montana, it operates under The Roxy Theater’s nonprofit umbrella as a small-scale cultural initiative. In March 2025, reports indicated that Steinberg was hired as executive director of the nonprofit behind the festival, marking a leadership change for the organizing entity.
