InventRight, based in the United States, operates in the professional training and coaching field to help inventors and entrepreneurs license their products. Its Gateway program cultivates relationships with about 900 open-innovation companies and manages outreach to match a product with appropriate opportunities, increasing the likelihood that it will reach a decision-maker. This approach addresses a common licensing hurdle where outreach can be unanswered or blocked by gatekeepers. The firm serves clients who want to license from inception as well as those seeking licensing to scale existing products, removing barriers between ideas and the marketplace. With a history spanning more than 25 years, inventRight has offered education and coaching on product licensing and was founded by Stephen Key and Andrew Krauss. In May 2022, the company expanded its offerings with an eight-week course in tabletop game design.
