Iowa State Bank and Trust Company opened for business as a state chartered bank on May 19, 1934, following a merger of Iowa State Savings Bank and the Iowa Loan and Trust Company.  The Bank was founded on the premise that our city and county needs a locally-owned institution with management that resides in the community.  We carry on that legacy today.
