The Irish Diaspora Center, operating as the Irish Immigration Center of Philadelphia, serves the needs of the Irish immigrant community and their families in the Delaware Valley. It acts as a community hub for Irish residents in the Philadelphia area, offering information, counseling, and referrals on the U.S. immigration system, healthcare, housing, and related issues. A legal clinic conducted in partnership with the Brehon Law Society and Drexel Law School provides free legal advice to community members. The center facilitates citizenship processes by informing Irish-Americans about the benefits of dual citizenship and assisting eligible individuals to obtain Irish citizenship or U.S. citizenship. It promotes active citizenship through voter registration drives and census awareness. Based in Havertown, Pennsylvania, the organization is small and serves the Delaware Valley with programs spanning immigration and legal services, community building and outreach, active retirement and wellness, the Irish Immigrant Connect Program, and youth initiatives such as GAA and Foróige.
